Issues with Multiple Credit Card Accounts

Post by hanstj »

Android MMEX 5.1.4

I have three credit card accounts in MMEX. Let's call them CC1, CC2, and CC3.

When I tap CC3 on the homepage, the app would always open CC1. CC1 and CC2 do not have this issue. Tapping on them would open the correct account respectively. So, the only way to access CC3 is to tap any other accounts and choose CC3 from the account drop-down menu at the top.

I created a new database to do more tests on this issue. I also want to specifically mention that MMEX always sorts multiple accounts alphabetically, which will become relevant later.

In this new database, I will only be adding credit accounts. Below are the step-by-step:

- Added CC1 on desktop and synced to phone.
- Added CC2 on desktop and synced to phone.
RESULTS on phone:
- tapping on CC1 opened CC1
- tapping on CC2 opened CC1

- Added CC3 on desktop and synced to phone.
RESULTS of phone:
- tapping on CC1 opened CC1
- tapping on CC2 opened CC1
- tapping on CC3 opened CC1

- Renamed CC2 to 1 CC2 on desktop and synced to phone. Because MMEX always sorts the accounts alphabetically, the 2nd account is now listed on the top, followed by the 1st and 3rd account. See the attached screenshot
RESULTS of phone:
- tapping on 1 CC2 opened 1 CC2
- tapping on CC1 opened 1 CC2
- tapping on CC3 opened 1 CC2
