Crashes soon after opening

V. 1.8.1. on Linux Mint.
When I open mmex it says there is another instance running. There is not.
Then when I try to open a bank account I get a bug report, but cannot download it.
Then it crashes.
I have .bak files but the Open menu does not have the option to open .bak files.
I have been using mmex for over 10 years and have not previously had this issue.

Sorry, typo. I am using 1.9.1
I have tried opening a backup file, rebooting the computer and reinstalling the program from Program Manager.

There are various issues that are pending with Beta 1.9.2 or have been resolved.

I open Mmex to last opened.
Notice comes up saying debug report. I cancel it.
When I go to an account Mmex crashes. Sometimes the debug notice comes up after I go to an account.

I open it again and get "Attempting to open a database that has been marked as opened by another instance of MMEX."
There is no other instance of Mmex opened, so I go ahead and open.
Get notice of debug report.
When I go to an account Mmex crashes again.

I have saved a text copy of the debug report.

I will look at the links you gave.

If MMEX crashes, the database remains open, hence the message that the database is open in another MMEX instance.

Which account (account type) do you select when MMEX crashes?

There is probably an error message. Can you send us a screenshot?
