Applicable to Windows 11 Pro, fully patched and updated, except for the latest Patch Tuesday (Jan26).
Since updating to version 1.9.2, I have noticed that the transaction lists take an extremely long time to load. For some accounts this takes five to ten minutes, whilst for one credit‑card account it even takes several hours. The balance shown at the top is always correct, so the data themselves are not the issue.
After several days of testing, I found a reproducible workaround:
The transaction list loads immediately after briefly switching back and forth between virtual desktops. If I switch to another virtual desktop and then return to MMEX, the full list of transactions appears almost instantly.
This behaviour is consistent across multiple accounts. So it seems that MMEX does not fully refresh the GUI until Windows forces a redraw event.
Database optimisation has no effect (it completes in a fraction of a second), so it does not appear to be a database issue.
I hope this observation helps in identifying the underlying cause.
