Database password incorrect or a file that is not a database file message

This message appeared three days ago and was overcome by uninstalling and reinstalling v1.9.4.
The same .emb file has been opened and closed successfully a few times with the usual password but today
after using and saving successfully, the message has appeared on re-opening. The same message appears on all of the recent database backup files
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the previous version 1.9.3 but the same error is replicated on all files.
Can anyone help please. My file dates back many years so am desperate to rescue it?

The same message appears on the recent database backup files but a backup file rom 17/09/26 - 9 days ago let me in but then produces the table message that is also also attached.

Have you tried opening the .mmb file with https://sqlitebrowser.org/

Am I right in assuming that you tried to open the .emb file using a different version of MMEX, for example on Android?
Did you save the .emb file to the cloud? I’m guessing this because of the ‘TableFactory’ error message.

With so little information, it’s quite difficult to help you, which is probably why you haven’t received a reply on GitHub either.
