I am using v1.9.0.
I have problem openning attachements, such as;
1- If there is only one attachement in a transaction, it can only be opened via the attachment shurtcut button at the bottom of main screen. Double clicking to the attachment file in the Attachment Manager won't open it but gives an error "Please verify that file exists and user has rights to read it".
2- If there is more than one attachement in a transaction, attachment shurtcut button at the bottom of main screen opens the Attachment Manager. However, double clicking to the attachment files in the Attachment Manager won't open any of them but gives an error "Please verify that file exists and user has rights to read it".

Re: Unable to open attachments
I presume that your OS is MS Windows.
Is it a recent installation ?
P:\ is a local or external storage ?
You can install the last beta : https://ci.appveyor.com/project/moneyma ... /artifacts
Do a backup of your files before.

And for that ?
For "recent installation", I was talking MoneyManagerEx. Not WIndows 10.alfred07380 wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 9:29 am P:\ is a local or external storage ?

Re: Unable to open attachments
ohh sorry, I misunderstood.
This problem appeared when I switch to v1.9.0 like one month ago.
I use portable version and P:\ is usb flash drive.
Also, I tried to setup a new dummy DB to test if the problem reoccur, unfortunately it did. So, it is not related to my existing DB.

Re: Unable to open attachments
Additionally, v1.9.1 beta that you have shared does not give any error and opens the attachment as expected.

Re: Unable to open attachments
This attachment issue is likely caused by an invalid file path, including a double backslash or an inaccessible network drive (P:). To fix it,Block Blast verify the attachment base path in MMEX settings and ensure the network drive is properly connected and the file exists.

Re: Unable to open attachments
The p:\ mean that is just a portable version on a usb flash drive. Not a network drive as you wrote !!
And the beta version (1.9.0 beta) correct the problem.
